Dr. Hwachii Lien is the President of Financial Sciences, Inc. Dr. Lien organized Financial Sciences, Inc. in 1974. For the past 40 years, he has devoted himself to both Commercial and Investment Banking services. He registered FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 since 1974, and received his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from University of Penn. in 1962. He was employed in managerial positions at AVCO Systems and General Applied Sciences Lab from 1962 to 1974. He was invited back to his alma mater, National Taiwan University in 1970 as a Visiting Professor. From June 1976 until February 2002, he was engaged in banking as Chairman of the Board of Liberty Bank & Trust in Boston. During this period, he provided many small businesses and ethnic minorities with proper financial support and management advice. He is now extending his broad experience to cover Investment Management and Financial Consulting area at Financial Sciences, Inc.
Mr. Gary Ho is the Executive Vice President of Financial Sciences. He has been affiliated with Financial Sciences since 1997. He registered FINRA Series 4, 7, 24, 28, 63, and hold an M.S. degree from Northeastern University. Mr. Ho has many years of investment experience. His interests cover high technology, mutual funds, options strategy, and general investment strategy.
Ms. Debra Chien has over 20 years of investment experience. She has held the position of FinOp Principal at Financial Sciences since 1993 and is fully registered as a Broker/Dealer (Series 7 and 63), Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27), Options Principal (Series 4), and General Principal (Series 24). She holds an M.B.A. from Auburn University.
Ms. Leslie Lien Lee has over 20 years of investment experience, focusing on high technology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Ms. Lee has been affiliated with Financial Sciences since 1986 and is fully registered as a Broker/Dealer (Series 7 and 63) and as a Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27). In addition to her investment experience, Ms. Lee has been a practicing lawyer since 1993, currently barred in Massachusetts and Illinois. Ms. Lee has held financial and legal positions at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Whitman & Ransom, Miller & Chevalier and KPMG. Ms. Lee received her J.D. Degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She also holds an M.S. in Accounting from New York University, Graduate School of Business, and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College. Ms. Lee had served on the Board of Directors for Liberty Bank (now General Bank) in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was a member of the Executive Committee.
Mr. Ken Lee has over two decades of financial planning and investment experience. Mr. Lee has been affiliated with Financial Sciences since 1993 and is fully registered as a Broker/Dealer (Series 7 and 63) and as a Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27). In addition to his investment experience, Mr. Lee has held financial and management positions at Dow Corning Corporation, Pepsi-Cola Corporation, A.T. Kearney/EDS and Elytics, Inc. Mr. Lee holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College. Mr. Lee had served on the local Boards of Directors for American Red Cross and Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Midland, Michigan.
